Loneliness
There is a difference between who we are and what we're supposed to be. The moment we’re born we are given our name, religion, and we’re brought up with some moral values, matter of fact though that none of those are our choices and we spend our entire life living up to the values and expectations of the society.
You may say that oh no, I don’t give a damn about the society, all what matters to me is my family and career but some point in life we reach a stage and realize that we at last we have to live in this very society and we need friends and relatives outside of our family circle too. After all how lonely can you be? There will be a time that you’ll get tired of seeing and talking to the same people again and again over the same topics i.e. why the society is there for. We may not find people of similar mindset easily but they do exist. How do I know? Well you’re an example.
If you’re an extrovert you surely have friends but even you may get left out sometimes so you should always have some friend you can reach up to anytime, if not, having some side hobby is always handy. You can also try being an introvert sometimes, it’ll be a different experience altogether.
Speaking of introverts, I don’t think anything such as an introvert exists because they are people who don’t like small talks and prefer to stay silent and if they talk it’s usually an actual or a deep conversation. The dictionary has a different word for such people; they’re called ambiverts and if you’re such kind then you probably like reading, have figured out how to utilize your time (although may not be able to do it), have some hobbies etc. If you’re an ambivert and just watch movies or waste time on bullshit newsfeed and posts that are served to you, you should grow up trust me; a good thing though it’s never too late to grow up. You should consider making a friend who you can speak your heart out without being judged and travel because it teaches a lot about life.
I am no guru, life advisor or something of that sort. It’s just my views and if you have some opposition towards it feel free to reach out to me.
Peace.
