A New Perspective
Life sometimes needs a new
perspective. In the the previous blog I mentioned that there is a
difference between what we are and what we are supposed to be; it is
when what we're supposed to be becomes a load on us, we need a new
perspective in life. I think it's okay to cheat. Now by cheating I
only mean cheating yourself; that too only from what you're supposed
to be. Let me explain: Sometimes by simply keeping aside our ambition
and enjoying the small things which we really like e.g watching a
movie, writing, eating ice-cream even when you were asked not to can
refresh our mood and give us joy, since the longing for something
gets fulfilled. In short, what we're doing is being what we really
are and to know oneself is a journey in itself. While I said cheating
is okay and even beneficial sometimes one should never cheat from
what they really are because that way we become unaccountable. The
sole existence of responsibility for anyone is because they're
accountable to someone but, once we cheat ourselves there's no place
to go. We become hollow from inside. Either life becomes meaningless
or the devil gets control over our mind. In the latter, we tend to
think that we're just fine and are doing good but in reality our eyes
are covered with curtains and we can never see the clear picture.
Therefore,
a break is very vital every once in a while. This can also help us
re-discover ourselves like never before. We may also end up quitting
what we were doing at that point of time and start all over again
with something new in life. People also get scared when such
opportunity comes to them thinking of the consequences but regret is
the worst of all. Yeah I know if your entire family depends upon you;
obviously you cannot just do what you want unless you're financially
stable. But that doesn't mean to just forget about our dreams and
simply sacrifice our life in their service; cheat life as I told
earlier, take breaks and enjoy the journey. After all, if it's meant
to be it will be!
