Action

If you have been through my earlier posts, everything basically comes down to, it was you fault and you should take complete responsibility of it. Don't be doubtful of yourself or your future whether you'll be successful or not. I know one can learn from others mistakes but some mistakes in life are meant to be made, because simply getting the main message/moral is not enough; sometimes we need to experience it. In simpler words, we failed in achieving our goal because we were supposed to fail. In a way, it was a message from the supreme one that there was some flaw in our plan/mindset/work.

But, what happens after we fail? Most of us simply make excuses and give up. It's understandable to feel low and realize that we're in such state because of our own poor decision making. This in no way justifies not taking action and not working towards our goal. Take me for instance, even I feel pointless right now writing this post, I feel as if, why am I writing this? After all, what's the point? Honestly, I don't know the answer to this. But I do know that if I can't commit to anything, what kind of a person will I be. Our brains are such that it just prefers consumption like our stomach and if you've this attitude that I will do whatever I want because I am no one's slave. Well my friend, let me tell you that you're a slave of your brain. Now I know I need not remind you of so many stupid things you've done in life, frankly everyone does, most of it is because of our brain, it just knows to entertain itself. There is nothing called as sacrifice and discipline inbuilt in our brain that is why we fall in a trap our satisfying our desires which gives us temporary pleasure. Do you want to live life being a slave of something which only know how to hunt for dopamine?

I also want to address another situation where we procrastinate like anything and never take action. There will either be a time when you will want to take action and you wont be able to or you'll simply die miserably. Of course it's easier said than done and I am a prime example of that. But, I've been trying out different ways to work around this, sometimes youtube, sometimes books and sometimes even writing like I am doing right now. But the best thing I've found is to: "JUST DO IT". Now you've 3 options: i) make your brain your slave and force it do stuff like you'd order your servant. ii) bargain with yourself and figure out how you can get stuff done. iii) think of yourself as someone you care for, what advice would you give them and simply implement that. No option is should be compared, just go with anything you're comfortable with; but yeah do try out everything in some time and stick to the one you're most efficient (may or may not be comfortable) with.
