The Golden Rule of Life

Image
So this one day, Trico a 13 year old in Pallet Town was walking to the bus stop where she encountered a man. He was dressed in a check shirt and full pants holding a leather bag sideways, seemed like a working professional. While Trico was excited to go to school, the day being her first of the new session, the poor guy was rather sad.  Since the bus was late, to pass time she introduced herself; contrary to what seemed like a bad mood he responded rather positively, probably because everyone likes kids. He said that he is a game developer to which her eyes lit up, before she could go any further he explained that he's makes video games not something like snakes & ladders, playing catch, or any other indoor/outdoor game. So, basically you're a someone who never grew up from his childhood video game addiction? hearing this, the guy got furious on how could a puny little girl comment on his profession like that, but she was a kid. So, he patiently explained her, how easy it i...

Human Life in General

Image
Instead of beginning with the birth of a human let's skip to the real talk. It's about the bubble everyone is in. You see, what all successful people do is pursue what they find meaningful and that's pretty much it. When, I was younger and a little more naive than I am right now, I used to think; wow, these people have it figured out all and they're set. Well, as I grow a little older, I see it's not really the case. Everyone has challenges in their lives, of course the magnitude of the challenge varies with the progression in life but everyone is working for something at least. You may think Bill Gates can chill out and just enjoy life, but you see even he's not idle; he is involved in helping the poor in Africa because once you achieve that level of success, siting idle becomes a thing of the past. You get contentment by working and you find out new endeavors to pursue. Think about identity from a very naive perspective. What is identity? You may think it to ...

Reflection

Image
Today I am writing to take a step back and observe my journey. I started like everyone does. I don't think I had any proper sense when I was a child (what am I talking, no one has sense at that tender age). But when I look back, all I remember are the moments which stood out from the usual days. Things like being the school commander in the assembly, getting caught cheating in an exam once, scoring the highest marks several times and even getting punished for not doing homework are there; but these don't really give me that nostalgic feel. It's just like, yeah, these happened. But, things like getting bullied once and of course complaining about it, traveling to new destinations during vacations, hosting events, going to village and using stem as toothbrush, watching men wear shawl in winters, and observing how people are able to stay happy (not necessarily satisfied) in a village with scarce resources are still mesmerizing to me.  Then I moved to a comparatively developed ...

One Year Epilogue

Image
Today, I complete one exact year writing this blog, as of now I've just been writing non-fiction basically about life and my experiences. My intention behind writing was to get and escape from the real world, gain clarity, document my journey and possibly help others. This is not my first blog though, I did start two other blogs in my first year of college but was not consistent hence, I discontinued it. I started college with the idea of personal development and it has been two years since then and, what I've come to realize is that it's full of crap. Just think about it, how can you measure personal development? Take your time. Make sure that you're actually measuring it instead of thinking that you're measuring it. You may feel better and get a sense of accomplishment but feeling and doing are two different things. This is when you'll think, so basically I cannot measure personal development? Yes, exactly. You cannot at least within a time frame of 3-5 years ...

What is the point of life?

Image
It's been two years since I've been living the so-called adult life. This is the age when we actually start to understand life; rather, our brain develops and we see life from the perspective of a grown-up. Before we proceed further I want you to understand the everything in life is relative hence, this may happen to you sooner or later as per your upbringing and experiences. I have reached this stage in life that I feel how ignorant I've been all my life and now when I look at the wider picture I feel as if what is the point of it all? It seems as if we're all puppets born to advance the process of evolution. Just think even if you didn't exist there would be no change in this world and just in case you don't know, which you should by now, that no one excluding your family cares about you genuinely. No, not your friends either, we're social animals that's why we need friends. Then again, I've had conversations with my friends which becomes repetiti...

Marriages & Love

Image
Love is an act of caring. If you're in love, it means that you care. If someone loves you, it means that they care for you. It's so simple, yet it's the thing that brings butterflies in your stomach, it makes you angry at times, makes you go crazy, and sometimes even makes you feel whether it's worth it not. How could this be? Caring doesn't yield so may outcomes! Hence, there is a separate word for this feeling. It's called love. It's sophisticatedly natural. It's so deep, yet we dive into it. It intimidates us, but we find it comfy. Just like our imagination, love is a universe in itself. Okay, cut the crap, come to the point. Alright, if you think being in love with the wrong person negatively affects you, you should reconsider it. Consider this, forget love for a while, take making a conversation with someone, how good are you at that? Of course, you'd ace it with your best friends and people you're interested in but how about a conversation...
